Meet the Center:
O.K. ... I haven't exactly figured out how I'm going to do this page and the introductions to the fantastic people that comprise what I will call for now "the staff". Maybe "the staff" will give me some much needed direction on this ... in the meantime I will at least make a start towards introductions.
Gerald (Jerry) Morrison - Dance Instructor
Jerry "migrated" to Florida from Anchorage, Alaska about 4 years ago. He has been promoting dance and dance related activities for well over 20 years. He has taught for at LEAST the last 15 or so of those years.
"Back in the day" when he was living in Anchorage, Jerry was well known in the dance community for bringing in "top name" dancers and instructors for "3-day workshops" to teach the latest dance moves. He was also known for his active participation in preparing his students to compete in various regional and national competitions. Thanks in part to Jerry and his dedication to Dance, Anchorage Alaska now has a thriving dance community that have dancers dancing in competitions all over the country.
Jerry's classes are THE BEST!! I'm writing this (at least for the moment) so I can say that! However, I know that's so from experience (as I've had the privilege of having Jerry as an instructor for about ... ummm ... 15 years) and from talking to many, many dancers that have taken his classes. His classes are interesting (to say the least) and have "something for everyone" from the "beginner" dancer all the way to the "advanced competition level" dancers.
